My mother and I went here a week ago. We have tried Tang 190 and I Can BBQ, both in Irvine. We are trying the top rated restaurants in the area. This is a small;l place. Overall, the panchan is better than Tang 190, but still okay; not great. Yes, I do base my rating on the panchan too. Our server was very nice. I am posting the panchan we had. This was a descent place. I ordered namyung. The noodles were softer than the one at Tang 190.

Very authentic Korean food hire in a low key plaza!

Prompt service although every table was occupied. Ban chan and spicy pork.

I really enjoy their dishes. I always get great customer service there. The place is well kept and the cashiers are always helpful. Keep up the good work.

Got the 특설렁탕 (special seolleongtang = extra beef). The broth was not clean tasting, meaning they weren't able to get the beefy smell out while making it. Also, the beef was cut so large that it was more than 2 bites worth so it was hard to eat. Had to try and use chopsticks to cut them but to no success. I'm disappointed that a Korean restaurant in OC is not up to par.

Everything we ordered was very tasty. I really like their pork cutlet which was cooked perfectly. Good service too!

Okay price. Decent food. Unique barbecue chopped beef steak. I love it.

Extremely fast service. Loved the small plates of kimchi, tendons, seaweed and others treats. Soup was piping hot...and fabulous. Tight quarters but when so many people want to get in what can you do🤔. Tricky to find!!

The food and the service was just ok. I do hope they will succeed as they seem to have some promise.

The food is good but the portion is slightly smaller than I got somewhere else

It doesn't look like much from the outside but packed inside and flavor is awesome. I got the gamjatang and definitely will be getting it again!

Nothing special..over priced Korean food

My favorite place for home style Korean cooking. Great Sul Lung Tang. Better than Yigah.

This is a cute little korean mom and pop shop in a pretty quiet little plaza. The restaurant itself is kinda small so expect there to be some sort of wait. The food was so good!! We got the galbi tang, the sul long tang, and the beef hot pot and they were all so yum! The sul long tang is pretty bland but there is salt that you can add in on your own. The galbi tang was so flavorful and the meat was so soft snd tender. The beef hot pot was soooo good! There wasn’t as much vege as i thought there was gonna be but it was still very flavorful! Service is a bit slow, but everyone working was so nice and sweet that i didnt mind too much. I would definitely come back to try the other dishes!

This place is a golden gem. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing (including the banchan)

Great traditional Korean cuisine.

Delicious and cozy tasting Korean food. There was a bit of a line before we were able to eat but we only waited about ten minutes so it wasn't that bad. I got the sul long tang and it was very delicious. Side dishes are also plentiful and really good.

The servers never came to our table. The servers also didn't have the best attitudes. We had to walk up to them to ask for everything. The food tasted mediocre and the portions were small considering how much they charged us.

Best place for Korean food!!! This place is way way way better than Tang 190!!!!! Please come try!

Have hoped this place could get their act together but sadly they haven't. Service is a comedy of errors. The management put only two servers on duty to cover a full dining room, the line of take out, and managing the waiting list. The day we were there the temps were high 80s and they have one AC unit by the door turned on low. Needless to say its not an enjoyable experience sweating. Even though we asked them to at least turn up the fan they just looked at us and ignored our request. The wait for the food was excessive and by the time it arrived we just wanted to get out of there. Its a shame because the food quality is good and lots of variety on the menu. We wont be back

One of my favorite Korean restaurants in Irvine. It can get quite busy on the weekends, so be prepared to wait. I usually get the cold noodles or one of the soups, and I'm never disappointed.

Great Korean food!

Great place for authentic Korean soups and dishes

My husband and I were looking forward to trying this place. We sat there for 45 minutes watching 5 tables that came in after us get served first. We did get tea, and then we were ignored. I hate thinking this, but I feel it may have been because we didn't fit the preferred demographics. I left feeling just shocked and disgusted. How sad in 2020 to think that these things are happening. I have never experienced anything like this before.

I ordered their cold noodle, me get nengmyun , and bassak bulgoki, translates to crispy bulgoki. Cold noodle should even colder with cover with floating ice and bulgoki was just flatten hamburger patty with sweet bulgoki marination. I had a just taste of gamja tang, potato soup, and that was really bad. The soup flavor was nothing close to the actual flavor of gamja tang should be. The servers were not so attentive to customers.

Get the sur-long-tang (ox bone soup). Add sea salt, pepper, and green onion to your taste. So good!

Good Korean noodles and dumplings.

Food was nice but it’s pretty small and busy. Service was not good as well.

Small Korean restaurant in a tiny plaza. Even if parking is hard to find, this place has amazing food. The menu's not too big do easy yo decide and the translations are pretty accurate. Loved the food, really authentic. Prices aren't too bad either, my daughter got the combo rich was cold noodles with bulgogi. Plus we get all those yummy kimchi salads!

Good food. Small portions though for gom tang . beef bone soup. I would try make portion larger to get more customers. Good luck.

Seromgtang was watery a bit and side dishes like kimchi was not really fresh. Duk gug was ok but had to put in more salt to make it taste right. Only place opened early in the morning in Irvine around 9 on weekend. Its convenient and service was good.

One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the OC. Great service--always friendly & courteous-- and need to mention consistent amazingly delicious food! I would definitely recommend their "Ba Ssack Bulgoki" -- so delicious and tasty--much like a consistency of a hamburger but so much more flavors!!! I would highly recommend coming here ... They do get very busy during lunch and peak dinner hours --so make sure to plan ahead!

Nice little place. Ordered galbijjim here and it's perfectly filling for one. Everything is delicately prepared, really shows a lot of attention.

Yummy authentic Korean soups and plates. Highly recommend this place. The Kimchi varies from very tasty to good, and I haven't had a bad meal yet. If you're extra hungry get the combos, but be weary it's A LOT of food.

Bad service and taste.

Last week was the first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had great time with the good service, with the great food and wine and with the comfortable pay. We will absolutely come back again.

Pretty good. Ate the gamjatang here though.Haha. Interior is quite small though,as well as parking space.

I love this place. I have tried almost everything on the menu and all are very, very good. Service is better than other Korean restaurants I've visited.

Very good Korean beef soup.

The best Yuk gue jang I’ve ever had. I’ve been to Seoul many times as well as so many Korean restaurants but so far they have the best one. I go there just for Yuk gae jang from LA, which takes at least 2 hours, but it totally worth!Spicy pork and Mul naeng myun (cold noodle) are also nice.

I always stop by grabbing some food in this spot. I enjoyed the prompt service and well prepared dishes. I recommend this place.

One of the best Korean restaurants in Irvine. The food tastes great. The restaurant is pretty small, so I had to wait a couple times to get seated.

I had an extraordinary experience in this place. We liked the nice environment and the food. The waiters are very welcoming. I’m happy we finally decided to try this place.
